Early Life & Background

Kavita Lad was born in Thane. She completed her schooling from ‘St.Holy Cross High School’ and then studied in ‘Joshi-Bedekar College’.


Journey in the industry

Kavita is a renowned Marathi actress, who started her acting career with Marathi theatre. She debuted in television with the show ‘Sundar Mi Honar’. After the success of her show, Kavita acted in super-hit plays like ‘Eka Laganachi Goshta’ and ‘Char Divas Premache’ opposite popular Marathi actor Prashant Damle.

Later, Kavita appeared in Star Pravah’s matrimonial show ‘Jodi Jamali Re’ as a host. Later, she hosted a cookery show ‘Mejwani’ on ETV Marathi. She was also the part of the longest running show in Indian history ‘Char Divas Sasuche’ which use to aired on ETV Marathi.

Kavita had also acted in many Marathi movies. She was seen in the movies like ‘Jigar’ in 1998, ‘Lapun Chapun’ in 2006 and ‘Vahinichi Maya’ in 1995. She also acted in the super-hit movie ‘Tu Tithe Mee’ in 1998, along with Prashant Damle, Mohan Joshi and Suhaas Joshi. Her performance in the movie ‘Anolki He Ghar Maze’ was been appreciated by everyone. She was also seen in the movie ‘Sukhant’ along with actor Atul Kulkarni.

Kavita portrayed the role of Seema Vahini in Zee Marathi’s popular show ‘Radha Hi Bawari’.
