“Dhadak” Bollywood Movie (Review)

“Dhadak” Review-

When you remake a classic film of any language then obviously comparison with the first one will be made. Some iconic films should never be touched or made again whether it is a Bollywood, Hollywood or any Regional language film, you can never match the original one despite having readymade classic project in hands. ‘Dhadak’ is a fine example of it which turns out to be an average film.

The narrative of ‘Dhadak’ has no originality and humour like ‘Sairat’. The screenplay which has lots of changes like characters & locations but yet it does not include any realisticness like Sairat. The main reason is because the film was made to show the real face of our society and entertains us, but ‘Dhadak’ neither entertains you nor hits it to the main content. Acting wise I would say this film should be watched only for Ishan Khattar’s smooth act. First ‘Beyond The Clouds’ and now ‘Dhadak’, this guy is on a roll of becoming a superstar. Janhavi Kapoor looks good in entire film but the spice of Archi is somewhere missing. Side cast of the film are not bad but their characters fails to leave an impact like those of Sairat’s. The screenplay of the firm has killed the content that the film never connects with the soul, it just passes with the time and we don’t even give a damn to what is happening on screen. Music is awesome as it’s of Ajay-Atul, yet 2 new fresh songs which are fabulous. There is a little change in the climax which is slight pleasing and i wouldn’t open it, as it will work like a Spoiler. That was probably the only portion where I felt the makers or director had thought differently.
