“Satyameva Jayate” Bollywood Movie (Review)

This is a story which run on two Paths, one is a Revenge Drama and the other one is patriotism. Writer tries to mix up these 2 stories in this single narrative and somewhere convinces you till the Interval point but goes off the track at many moments in the 2nd half. It has faadu dialogues coming from John Abraham who looks Rowdy throughout the film with his Attitude and Machoism. Manoj Bajpayee is somewhat weak as his character is very gentle and we needed someone more scary on the opposite side of John. Screenplay kind of lacks the logic and so does the direction. Music is Decent. It can be seen clearly that director wanted to make this one a complete mass film. There are some too dramatic moments to digest, you might even like them but not fully unless you are a Hardcore Mass lover who can whistle even if Hero is just walking in a style for no valid reason.

Overall, Satyameva Jayate is less of a patriotic film and more of filmy. You might feel bad for missing logic but it still has enough Action and Whisltle worthy moments to survive. John should have gone for a better film if he has to come after a Classic “Parmanu”, which raised the Expectations bar. On Box office this one will lack the trending like “Parmanu” and will fall way behind its Competitor Gold, though it will be a Success!
