Child Actor Sushrut Bhagwat turns Director with “P.G.” & “Mumbai Times”



As we all know that the Marathi Industry is booming and thus we could see many new faces in Marathi movies. Similarly, many young directors are also entering the industry with various entertaining and social scripts. The new name adding in Marathi’s young direction list is the former child artist Sushrut Bhagwat.

Sushrut had acted in the serials like “Duniyadari”, “Avantika”, “Reshimgathi”, “Shravansari” and “Kulvadhu” during his early life. His most popular role was from Sahyadri’s “Ithe Nandto Bali”. However, the actor has now decided to turn his attention towards direction. He started his direction career by being assistant director for Star Pravah’s “Swapnancha Palikadle”. Soon he directed serials like “Majhiya Priyala Prit Kelena”, “Lakshay”, “Asmita”, “Aambat God” along with Marathi plays like “Sakhi” & “Vibhavantar”. In 2014, he turned his attention towards silver screen and assisted for the movie “Sau Shashi Deodhar”. Soon people are going to witness his two movies “P.G” and “Mumbai Times” which are lineup to release in coming year.
