Sharad Kelkar who entered on small screen as a Hero has now turned villain on a big screen. Few years back, we have seen Sharad as a lead actor on Zee TV’s show in ‘Saat Phere-Saloni Ka Safar’ in a role of Nahar Pratap Singh and since then he played lead in many television serials including ‘Sindoor Tere Naam Ka’ and ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’. However, this small screen hero has now started playing a bad guy on a big screen.
Sharad’s debut on big screen was from the comedy movie ‘Hulchul’, however, he became popular for his negative role as Amar from the movie ‘1920 Evil Returns’. In 2013, he again played a negative role of Khanji Bhai (Deepika Padukone’s brother) in the blockbuster movie ‘Ram Leela’. Now after Bollywood movies, Riteish Deshmukh offered him a negative role in a Marathi movie ‘Lai Bhari’, where Sharad played a role of Sangram. The movie was superhit and Sharad was appreciated for his performance. It seems that back to back negative role will make Sharad one of the prominent Villains of big screen.
